Arts Educators
The Kansas Arts Commission's Arts in Education programs support educational partnerships between artists, arts organizations, schools, after school and community organizations to enhance the availability of arts education in Kansas communities and to support efforts to integrate the arts into
the everyday lives of Kansas children.
The Kansas Arts Commission believes the arts are a vital component to education.
We understand that the arts are a core component to teaching the 21st century workplace skills of global awareness, creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving, self direction and self-motivation, team-building and collaboration, as well as communication and literacy skills.
