Youth Photography Instructor
The Wichita Center for the Arts is now hiring for a Youth Photography Instructor to teach during our summer session of classes June 6, 2008 – July 15, 2008. The classes are Friday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. for ages 8-10, and 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. for ages 11-14.
The Center is also hiring for a Lampwork Beadmaking Instructor for our summer session of classes June 6, 2008 – July 15, 2008. The class is Thursday nights from 6:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. for adults over 18 years of age.

The Lawrence Arts Center, located in Lawrence, Kan., seeks an experienced, full-time executive director. Established in 1974, the LAC resides in a 40,000 square foot facility to accommodate, an arts-based preschool, two galleries, sales shop, 300-seat theatre, ten studios for curriculum of art, drama and dance classes. Development Director

Education & Marketing Director
The Education & Marketing Director sets up and manages the Manhattan Arts Center classes for all ages, prepares all publicity materials for MAC events, and handles all space rentals. (S)he is the primary contact person for the media. Time: 20 hours/week, afternoons.
Essential duties:
- Set up classes for all ages
- Recruit instructors for classes
- Class and program scheduling
- Procure equipment and supplies for programming
- Track attendance and hours for grant reporting purposes
- Handle publicity for all MAC activities
- Write press releases and radio spots
- Primary contact person for newspapers, radio stations, etc.
- Correspond with volunteers, gallery artists, etc.
- Attend/lead committee meetings
- Coordinate facility rentals
- Good people skills, computer skills, writing skills

The Wichita Art Museum seeks applicants up to the challenge of developing, planning and implementing program sponsorship, membership and fund-raising, and evaluating specialized cultural and/or recreational programs for the public. The emphasis of work is on determining community needs and wants, designing programs to meet those demands, marketing those programs, and/or generating revenues or funding to support the programs. Graduation from a four-year college with emphasis in arts, education, recreation or a related field and two years of experience in community program delivery relevant to the Art Museum which includes involvement in program development, marketing, and fund-raising.
