Through these grants, the Commission supports programs:

-
That integrate the arts into the everyday lives of children to educate the whole child
-
That integrate the arts into classroom curricula
-
That are in alignment with the Kansas Arts Commission’s arts learning goals.
For Fiscal Year 2011, the Kansas Arts Commission offers two Arts-in-Education grant programs:
Arts Learning Program – for arts and cultural nonprofit organizations or government arts agencies with previous fiscal year budgets under $350,000 or non-arts organizations or agencies of any budget size
Arts Leadership Program – for nonprofit arts organizations or government arts agencies with previous fiscal year budgets over $350,000
Both programs are competitive; advisory panels recommend funding.
