Kansas Arts Commission

General Information for All Applicants

Please read this section thoroughly before beginning to write your grant.

The mission of the Kansas Arts Commission is to provide opportunities for the people of Kansas to experience, celebrate and value the arts throughout their lives.

To help achieve our mission, the Kansas Arts Commission offers support for arts and cultural programs and projects throughout the state.

Grants are available for tax-exempt, nonprofit organizations and government agencies to help Kansas communities and organizations to implement arts activities, support artists and reach audiences in effective, responsive ways.

The Kansas Arts Commission welcomes applicants from all qualified organizations and artists. However, due to a projected decrease in the Kansas Arts Commission’s Fiscal Year 2012 budget, the Kansas Arts Commission may not be able to offer some programs or fully fund its programs. Applications from fiscal sponsors or foreign corporations in any category are no longer accepted.

Kansas Arts Commission materials are available in alternative accessible formats upon request.

Please review all items to the right before preparing your application.
