Kansas Arts Commission

Fiscal Year 2010 Grant Programs

The Kansas Arts Commission offers a number of grants that support arts and culture programs throughout the state. Funding is available for arts and culture nonprofit organizations, arts and cultural councils, schools, libraries and other government entities, university programs and individual artists.

The goals of these programs are to help communities build their capacity to implement arts activities, employ artists in all areas of cultural endeavors and reach ever-expanding audiences in effective, responsive ways.

Before applying to any grant opportunity, be sure to review the information for All Applicants. If you are unsure about which grant your organization is qualified for, check out our Grant Qualification Chart.

If you are a new applicant, or are presenting an event at a new facility or site, or have made ADA-compliant changes, please complete and include the accessibility checklist form with your application materials.

All organizations must complete the financial management checklist for organizations with budgets greater than $25,000 or for organizations with budgets less than $25,000, and review it with their board of directors to meet arts management compliance.
