Bluestem

Bluestem, known for its vocal performances in three-part harmony, performs bluegrass, authentic cowboy, rock-n-roll and folk music. The group performs on the fiddle, banjo, guitar and bass, combining bluegrass with Western music.

Program Descriptions

Bluestem bases its programs on cowboy legends and weaves traditional, original songs, cowboy yodeling, storytelling and poetry with instrumental music. Concerts range from 45 minutes to two hours. Workshops are also available for harmony singing, yodeling, storytelling, songwriting and acoustic instrument building and playing. Performances and workshops suited for audiences of all ages.

Performance Fees
  • Performance: $1,500 plus expenses
