K-State Brass Quintet

The K-State Brass Quintet is comprised of the brass faculty at Kansas State University. The ensemble has served KSU and the communities throughout the heartland for over 20 years. Details of the individual members and their dynamic professional careers can be found at www.k-state.edu/music. The quintet has appropriate programs that will please audiences from elementary schools to senior centers. The group also is well suited for formal concert performances.

Program Descriptions

The K-State Brass Quintet is a professional brass quintet that performs many styles of music, including classical, ragtime, dixieland, blues, latin and swing. We can offer your audience an all-classical program, half pops and half classical or an all-pops style concert. Informative and entertaining, the performances will include interesting introductions to all the works.

Performance Fees
  • Evening recital (60-90 minutes): $1,500

  • Clinics (60 minutes): $600

  • Children Concert (60 minutes): $600

Travel Expenses            

  • Mileage, lodging, and per diem may be required for performances involving travel over 100 miles.
