In this age of rapid change, Roger Pitts presents programs that showcase technology as a human enhancement instead of a human replacement. Roger’s music technology programs are exciting, fast-paced and utilize the latest in digital technology and live performance. Roger creates entertaining and educational programs by combining classical, jazz and other popular styles.
Program Descriptions
The music technology program utilizes computers, computerized musical instruments and lights to create full concert experience. The program begins with performances of original compositions and utilizes various guitars and keyboard instruments as well as computer-aided accompaniments.
Workshops include recording a sound sample and displaying it on the video monitor for manipulation; a demonstration of how MIDI works; and recording a song from scratch using audience volunteers.
Master classes and workshops include age-appropriate demonstrations.

Performance Fees
- Workshop: $300 to $2,500
- Music technology concert: $500 to $4,500
Technical Requirements
- A table and television are required as well as a one-hour set-up.
