Gladys the Riveter

As Gladys, Teresa discusses the sacrifices everyone is making to unite and become the “Arsenal of Freedom” for the world. Gladys recounts the struggles the nation endured during the war. Tales of personal tragedy and triumph bring warmth and life to Gladys. In spite of the enormous responsibilities women faced during wartime, Galdys assures these new “Rosie the Riveters” that “we can do it!” Target audience is fourth grade through adult.
