Kansas Arts on Tour Roster - Storytelling

Priscilla Howe

Priscilla Howe

Often ridiculous, sometimes sophisticated, always compelling—stories for all ages. Since 1988, adults as well as children around the state, the country and in Europe have enjoyed storyteller Priscilla Howe’s (almost) true narratives, world folktales, and stories from books, served up with a generous dollop of humor. Expect plenty of surprises, from puppets for young children to sophisticated tales for grown-ups and older kids.

Be daring, be different, be impractical, be anything that will assert integrity of purpose and imaginative vision against the play-it-safers, the creatures of the commonplace, the slaves of the ordinary. — Cecil Beaton
