Kansas Arts on Tour Roster

Deadline: September 23, 2010

The Kansas Arts Commission supports performances, exhibitions, workshops and presentations by artists who appear on the Kansas Arts on Tour Roster by funding presenting organizations up to 40% of the artists' fees (maximum total request per organization is $7,500).

The Roster is open to individual artists, ensembles, collectives and companies in performing, visual, literary and media arts. Roster appointments are for a term of three consecutive fiscal years (July 1, 2011 - June 30, 2014).

Presenting organizations may include schools, theatrical presenters, arts and other nonprofit organizations and government agencies.

Objectives:

  • To provide opportunities for Kansas audiences to experience quality performing, visual and literary arts events

  • To provide performances, exhibitions and workshop employment opportunities for professional Kansas artists in communities throughout the state

  • To encourage the presentation of Kansas artists
