Kansas Arts on Tour Roster

Kansas Arts on Tour Presenter Request Amount and Match Requirement

Presenters may apply through the Kansas Arts on Tour program for up to $7,500 for one or more artist events or activities listed in the Kansas Arts on Tour roster. The Kansas Arts Commission underwrites 40% of the total fees for roster artists. Presenters must provide 60% of the artists’ fee(s) as a match for the grant.

  • Performances/activities by a Roster artist(s) must take place outside the artist’s home county

  • Performances/activities may not take place inside a private dwelling

  • A faculty member must be present during any K-12 school activity utilizing a Roster artist

  • If organizations are involved in collaborative projects, support from the Commission for the project may be requested by only one of the organizations

All Kansas Arts on Tour Roster artists’ fees in the application should be consistent with the artist contract(s) and reflect the fees listed on the roster website.

Presenters and/or Roster Artists are encouraged to include a reasonable cancellation clause in their contracts that releases both artist(s) and organization should KAC funds not be available.
