Kansas Arts on Tour Roster

Step 5: Application Review Process

Once submitted, Kansas Arts on Tour Roster applications are reviewed by Commission staff for eligibility, completeness and adherence to guidelines. If there are deficiencies in the application, staff will notify the applicant, and the applicant has two weeks from the date of notification to respond. If the applicant takes no action within this time period, the application will no longer be considered.

Once the application is complete and eligibility is determined, Kansas Arts on Tour Roster applications are forwarded to an advisory panel for review and scoring. An advisory panel of four or more individuals is assembled by Commission staff and includes members from diverse backgrounds with knowledge of the arts, including current Roster artists and presenters.

The panel meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 10, 2010. Applicants will be notified of the time and location once they have been determined. For more panel information read the Advisory Panel Review for All Applicants.

Applicants will be scored based upon the criteria for which they are eligible. Scores from all panelists will be totalled and averaged. Only those applicants who score 75% of the total applicable points possible will be appointed to the Roster.
