Rosie Cutrer uses the power of the spoken word to delight all ages. With degrees in theater and education, she is well equipped to entertain and educate.

Joel Rhodes, co-producer of the Cape Girardeau Storytelling Festival said of Rosie's work, "Her style is dynamic, engaging and quite polished...in some sessions Rosie entertained an audience of 500, captivating them throughout."

Irish Folktales
Stories from the emerald isle.

Holiday Programs
Entertainment for your holiday events: winter/Christmas, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, spring/Easter, fall/Thanksgiving or harvest events.

For Grownups Only
Folktales, stories from literature and original works.

Something Ghostly This Way Comes
Ghost stories and just plain creepy tales and songs. Programs can be geared up to scare the bejeebers out of you or geared down for younger audiences. With 23 years experience as a primary school teacher, Rosie knows how to pick stories appropriate for the younger ones.

Folktales & Stories from the Pioneers
Good for fall festivals; some pioneer artifacts included.

Books Alive!
Great for award assemblies, American Education Week, Read Week, Book Week, etc. Rosie tells stories based on books that she brings with her. Books performed will be donated to your library. Children will help act out at least one of the stories.

Library Programs
Music and stories designed with your library in mind.

Animal Tales
Earth Day and pet-theme friendly.

After School Jamboree
Programs for after school care groups. Discounted rates for block bookings.

Program Fees

  • One program: $200

  • Two programs: $300

  • Three or four programs: $350 - $400

  • Workshop or master classes in storytelling: $200 - $300

  • Weeklong residency: $1,700

Technical Requirements

  • Sound: artist provides a portable sound system. If the performance space is extremely large, an appropriate sound system with a lapel microphone and a stand microphone for the banjo needs to be provided.

  • Other: one table and three armless chairs
